For those of you that don't know we are in the process of moving to a house here in Moses Lake. We have been trying to move for what seems like forever now. The end of this month is it for sure though. That being due to the fact that our landlords here at the townhouse have a new renter. So, May 1st we should officially be over at the new place.
Andy has been working very hard to make a few changes to the new place. New drywall, floors, paint, and quite a few other things. Okay, so maybe a lot of changes would be more like it. There were many bumps along the way but as always it would be "Andy & Mandy" if there weren't a few bumps. It is a beautiful one acre lot with a great big back yard for the kids and the dogs to play. Tons of trees line the lot. Then we will also be purchasing 4 additional acres but they are one lot over. I simply can't wait. It will be all one floor, NO STEPS!!!!!! There is an above ground swimming pool but we are going to get rid of it. We are just not ready to have that kind of thing with the kids around. I think the ones a Walmart that cost $10 will work just fine for us. We will post more pictures as soon as the place is all finished. Wish us luck in moving. The nice thing is that it is only 5 minutes from where we live now, so I don't intend to pack to much. I am going to just move one room at a time.

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. Thank you all for sending gifts and cards for the kids. They loved it! Gabriel was super excited about Easter due to his ability to say "eggies" over and over again as well as hop like the Easter bunny everywhere in the house. The Saturday before Easter we went into town where the held a very large Easter egg hunt that lasted about 3-4 minutes. Gabriel did great. He walked all over looking for eggies. He didn't get one plastic one filled with candy only the real ones! I am pretty sure that I saw one mom literally tossing as many eggs as she could into her 2 year old's basket. Really are people that hard up for hard boiled eggs these days. None the less we had a great day. The sun was shining and Gabriel got his eggies. Sunday we all got up and went to church in our Sunday best. Then we had a nice nap and off to friends for a ham dinner and Easter egg hunt. Of course the weather hadn't not taken a hint for the day before and cold and rainy it was. Gabriel actually ate my macorroni salad and liked it. Andy put some on his plate I think just to make me feel good. I never saw it leave his plate :) Then Gabriel and 8 girls headed outside in the rain to hunt eggs. All plastic filled with candy this time! I don't even think I could count the number of times he said eggies! Happy Easter!!!!!!

SORRY

Okay so I would like to apologize for my complete lack of blog updating. As always in the Campbell world there is ALOT going on and my computer time has been zilch! I promise I will do better in the future at making sure that I update so you can know what is going on in our world.

Andy's 30th Birthday

So... Friday the 13th was Andy's 30th Birthday. What a day to have a Birthday on, huh? Well, we ended up having a FABULOUS time. We got a babysitter!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!! We gave the kids a bath, got them in their jammies, got ourselves ready, and then after feeding Savannah like four times we finally left the house around 8:00pm. We headed over to the Moses Lake Golf Club and had dinner there at their grill. (Nothing to write home about that's for sure.) We had a nice dinner although the food wasn't spectacular. I don't think Andy and I have been able to have a nice dinner alone in like FOREVER. We then met up with some friends to go bar hopping. We went a place called Papa's first and then on to the Saucy Hog. The Sauccy Hog was great! There was a live band and we had a great time. I did have to go home in the middle of all this though because Savannah had woken up and would not go back to sleep. She will not take a bottle so there is only one lady who can get her back to bed, ME! Forunatley I was the DD for Andy so Savannah didn't get drunk from that feeding. We came home about 2 I believe and then I had to drive the babysitter home. I thought I was going to fall asleep, I was so tired. Saturday I stayed in my PJ's all day and I didn't even drink. You can only imagine where Andy stayed most of the day. Gabriel and I watched a movie and ate popcorn. Then after dinner, we all played with our toys in the living room, even Andy. We haven't had a relaxing day with the kids in a while and we all really needed it. I'll tell you what, going out is an event when you have kids. I was tired by the time we got to the resturant. Let alone staying out till 2 in the morning. Its was all worth it though. I think Andy enjoyed his Birthday and the kids enjoyed their lazy day the day after!

Our Sunday Adventure...
One day a few weeks ago Andy comes home and says that he heard on the radio that Playhouse Disney Live was coming to town. (Well, Wenatchee which is like an hour away.) He says he thinks it would be fun to take the kids to a live show like that. Mickey Mouse, Whinnie the Pooh, Tigger and some other characters from Disney morning cartoons. I of course am thrilled, I would love to take the kids. Last Sunday, I get up and get the kids all ready for church. This is them all ready to go. We go to church, Gabriel races to the nursery, crys when I leave and is better within 10-15 seconds after I am out the nursery door. We come home eat lunch and then its off to Disney. Wet get to our seats the show starts and Gabriel is mesmerized. He is way into it, but he can't move he's so into it. Savannah on the other hand thinks its fabulous. She is moving all over the place kicking her feet and having a grand ol time. Needless to say the kids LOVED Disney. I can't wait to have more adventures with the kids. They make Andy and I so happy!!!

I feel like my little Savannah gets overlooked when it comes to the blog and pictures sometimes. I am sure that is somewhat due to her age and the fact that when you take the camera out Gabriel can now say "cheese" and smile really big. The other day I took the camera out with then intention of taking just some pictures of her all by her lonesome. The one you see is my favorite. That is little miss Savannah right there. The happiest baby in the world. She laughs, eats a ton, and is plain ol happy all the time. This morning myself, Gabriel and Savannah were all hanging out in the bed watching morning cartoons. I look over and Gabriel is laying on top of her and she is giggling with excitement. She thinks this is too funny. I am worried about him squishing her and she could care less. The other day she was napping in the swing and I heard her laugh. I come around the corner and he has climbed on top of her in the swing and is playing peek-a-boo. I'm worried the swing will break she again is having the time of her life. I can't wait to see how they interact as the get older. I am so blessed to have two wonderful children. One wild man and one happy litttle girl!

Gabriel's Hats

As you can see from the pictures above Gabriel is going through a hat phase. I can remember trying when he was younger to get him to wear hats. If it lasted longer than 5 seconds we were doing good. Now it seems to work in reverse. If the hat is off longer than 5 seconds there is an emotional break down, followed by "peas, peas, peas" until the hat is back on. (P.S. peas is Gabriel speak for please.) I think I put the Bengals hat on about 20 times this morning before we even left the house. There was also a point this morning where is was wearing the Bengals hat and wanted to wear the drawer on his head too. We had to then have a talk about how we can only wear one hat at a time, the Bengals hat or the clear plastic drawer hat. Now, I am sure you are wondering why I am even calling that a hat. I call it that because it is worn as a hat EVERY DAY!!! We have three drawers where all the toys are kept. The one that holds the blocks is ALWAYS empty and usually worn on Gabriel's head. Which then in turn means the blocks are all over the living room floor, he's not playing with them just walking around with his clear plastic drawer hat on. So, the other day when his friends were over to play, two drawers full of toys lay on the living room floor and they played in the kitchen with the drawers on their heads. Similar to playing with the boxes at Christmas instead of the toys. Lastly, there is his daddy's welding cap. That one is only when daddy comes home and he laughs as he steals it from Andy and puts it on his head.
Three hats, three different personalities. He is becoming such the little man!

New Year's Rsolution

I don't think that I have ever really made a New Year's Resolution. I know that for a fact I am horrible about keeping something like that. For example, I told my mom in October that I was going to learn to sew and then I was going to make welding caps, for Andy to wear to work and also sell to the gentlemen at work. When she was here visiting we went to the sewing store and even picked up a brochure for sewing classes. I have yet to begin the classes and Andy is buying his welding caps for some other guy whose wife IS at home sewing. Needless to say resolutions are not my cup of tea.
This year is the exception! I decided that Gabriel and I needed to get out of the house, Savannah tags along too :). We were sort of at our wits end with each other (Gabe and I). He needed play time and I needed adult time. We have been going to an open gym on Tuesdays where he can run, jump on the trampoline, and ply with other kids. On Wednesday we go to the Library and have story time. Gabriel is the only kid who doesn't sit through the story, he much prefers the toys. He did last week sit for the songs and loves when they do Ring Around the Rosie. On Sunday we go to church and Gabriel and Savannah go to the nursery. Here's how that goes every week. Savannah giggles as a hand her over to the eager nursery volunteers. Gabriel cries as a nursery volunteer takes him from me. I then go and watch through the mirrored glass as 30 seconds later he has forgotten all about me and is asking the lady for "juce!" I have met a nice group of mom's though all this and we will be attending our first Birthday party with this group next weekend. I am so excited that Gabriel is making new friends and I can talk in adult speek for a few hours each day. I guess this year's resolution is going pretty well. Who knows maybe next month you will hear about my new sewing skills (probably not).

Welcome

So, I am very fond of the Internet. Really there is like a small addiction there, but lets just leave it a fondness for now. I decided that since we do live quite far away that I would start a blog to let you know what we are up to in Washington. I would love to talk to everyone much more than a do but you know that I can't. This way you can catch up with us and I won't feel bad if I inadvertently forget to tell you something because Gabriel decided to color on the wall during our phone conversation. Enjoy your reading!!!
